we have a couple of systems where the SCCM hardware inventory is not working
there has been not additional entries in the inventoryagent.log file
I have restarted SMS-agent and WMI services
not sure sure what to do next

Go to Control Panel -> Configuration Manager -> Actions Tab -> Trigger the DDR & Harware Inventory as Garth Jones mention
