I have installed the SCCM client with the following parameters: CCMSetup.exe CCMINSTALLDIR="Z:\SCCM" SMSCACHEDIR="Z:\SCCM\Cache" /noservice SMSSITECODE=AUTO Now when I got to Control Panel...Configuration Manager. All the components show installed but none are enabled. I also only have the Machine and User Policy options under Actions tab. The ccmsetup.log says everything has finished and other logs show the MP point being picked up properly. Any help is appreciated, Ross

Is there a sitecode listed on that client? What's in locationservices.log, clientlocation.log? Is your MP working (mplist / mpcert or the MP Troubleshooter from ConfigMgr toolkit V2)?

It look like the clinet is registred on the MP properly. Could post the PolicyAgent.log and PolicyEvaluator.log. Regards, Madan

Yes all other clients are working and if I uninstall the redirecting install, and install the sccm client with the default install settings. Everything works fine. If in your GPO settings there are SCCM installation properties that are different than your properties set in your command line it could be your issue. Julien

There's also the possibility to set the sitecode using a GPO and that has nothing to do with installing the client. Any chance that such a GPO is in place?

I have installed the client using the CCMINSTALLDIR switch to redirect the installation. It doesn't work, so I uninstall it using ccmsetup /uninstall. Then if I install the client without redirecting the installation, everything works fine. I have not set any GPO's for SCCM. Thanks, Ross
