SCCM and Wix/Burn bundles

With burn bundles becoming more and more popular, was there ever any though given for SCCM to automatically detect them? If SCCM could identify the exe as a bundle, it could extract the compressed content and inspect the BootstrapperApplicationData.xml for the UpgradeCode. From there, they could do an AppSearch to find out if the bundle (or a newer version) was already installed.

I'm asking here in hopes this idea could get back t the SCCM team.  I also think this would provide better synergy for both Microsoft (they are using Wix's Burn to deploy their products) and for 3rd party developers who also utilize Burn. This would simplify the deployment and the need for custom detection rules.

Thanks
