SCCM and SQL Server
Hi all, I have a central site server with a SQL DB Server and a primary child site with a separate SQL DB server. Do both SQL servers communicate? If yes... in what way or purpose do they communicate? Thankyou.

And again, do the SCCM Site server (Say Central Site server) communicate only with its DB Server or does it communicate with other DB Servers (hosted for primary child site) as well?

Hi, The Primary Site only communicates directly with it's own SQL DB, all site-to-site replication is handled between the SCCM Primary site servers without any communication directly between the SQL servers. Regards, Jörgen -- visit my System center blog at http://ccmexec.com --
