Hi Eswar, I am not sure as to what to check for (sorry for my ignorance) ...We dont use certificates as the site is in mixed mode. The boot media doesnt have an expiry date or certificates.. can you pls advise on what to check?

This behavior is actually expected. The secondary site’s proxy MP isn’t used until the task sequence is finished. Cause: This behavior is expected. Task sequences for operating system image deployment are tied to the MP of the site that the task sequence was created in, and computers are assigned to that site as well. Consequently, computers will also use the MP for that site. This is true for both boot media and PXE initiated task sequences.

Hi Michael, First thing I tested. Got an IP, could ping Primary and Secondary.

Okay, The reason why I asked is that I had a similar problem which was related to DNS.... :-) I got an IP-address but the client couldn't resolve my SCCM-server using the FQDN.

Seems like it was a network issue at the time and contacting the site. "All of a sudden" it worked (thats what the desktop engineer said). Thanks for the assistance.
