SCCM Site Sytsem and Clustered Database
I have a peculiar error message that I'd like some help in clearing up. I have a SCCM R2 Central Site with a DB hosted on a remote SQL 2008 cluster with multiple nodes. In my site system status, one of the nodes is returning the following: SMS Site System Status Summarizer still cannot access storage object "\\XXXXXV202\X$\SMS_XXXXXCC01" on site system "\\XXXXXV202". The operating system reported error 2147942467: The network name cannot be found. Obviously, x$ does not exist, nor do I know where that came from or why its looking for that share. All the other sql nodes are reporting back ok. The error is coming from the passive node, If this helps. Mike F Iis there a way to correct this?

Hi Mike, Could have been that the drive were in use at the point of installation and ConfigMgr installed some of it's components there. http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/sjames/archive/2008/07/29/using-no-sms-on-drive-sms-when-installing-on-sql-cluster.aspxKent Agerlund | http://scug.dk/members/Agerlund/default.aspx | The Danish community for System Center products
