SCCM Server questions during scheduled downtimes
Good Morning, Is there a best practice for bringing SCCM down during scheduled downtime in times when a server(s) getting patched? Is it necessary to bring SCCM down temporarily during this process or will SCCM just "catch back up" with itself once the server is brought back online. What would you suggest the best practice method to be in this scenario? Would you let SCCM run and let the log files tell the story in the System Status section or would you bring SCCM down temporarily?

You don't need to do anything special. SCCM is really good at "self healing" under a scenario such as this. John Marcum | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jmarcum/|
