SCCM Secondary Site
Hello, Created a secondary site in SCCM which works fine however what I didt anticipate is now the server has been taken to it's permanent home(and the vpn is yet to be put in place to the main site) no imaging can take place as it cant contact the SCCM database which is on our main site. Is there a way to use a replica incase the link ever goes down? Any info anywhere on this? Thanks Robbie

You can use a replica for the MP and the SLP. A little more info in this article http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb693472.aspxKent Agerlund | My blogs: http://blog.coretech.dk/author/kea/ and http://scug.dk/ | Twitter @Agerlund | Linkedin: /kentagerlund

IMO, if you are going to replicate SQL then you should make it a primary server. http://www.enhansoft.com/

The initial advice we got was to make it a secondary site so to keep it on the same domain. Can you have two primaries on the same domain? If so it could be an option Robbie

Can you have two primaries on the same domain? Sure, as long as there aren't overlapping boundaries.Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de
