SCCM SUP choose Classification problems

I have this problem and I don't know how to solve it.

When I go in to configure site component: Software Update Point and go to Classification,

the dropdown plus icon is missing, and I can't select All Classification and press Apply, Apply is greyed out (as in no changes made)

I have this warning in wsyncmgr.log:

WARNING: Request filter does not contain any known classifications. Sync will do nothing.

There are no other errors in either WCM.log, WSUSCtrl.log

Anyone seen this before?

Is this a newly installed SUP? Did it sync at least once succesfully?

Could be you are facing a problem similar to this one: http://dekeukelaere.com/?s=wsus+initial+sync

In that case you could try to deselect all products & classifications and force a sync.

Yes and No. SUP stopped working a while ago, and one of the things I tried to solve it was of course uninstall WSUS role and SUP role and reinstall. So now it's a new SUP.

I did sync, and it's the same result. I also tried to unselect all Products and after sync:

WARNING: Request filter does not contain any known classifications. Sync will do nothing.

WARNING: Request filter does not contain any known categories. Sync will do nothing.

And afterwards choose the "all classification" option, and then a couple of products, and when I press enter and go in again, the classification box is empty again and im back to the first WARNING.

I have also tried to go through the WSUS wizard up until the part where you choose products, and canceled it.

that didn't help either.

Hi,

Please use "WSUSutil.exe checkhealth" to check WSUS health and check SUPSetup.log.

Best Regards,

Joyce
