SCCM SP2 Client Agent count not making sense
Hi all,I have just upgraded my SCCM infrastructure to Service Pack 2. Every part went fine and did not encounter any issues. However my nextstep it to upgrade the client agents to the new client which is part of SP2. i am creating self emptying collections and targeting the upgrade through the console using client push. Client push is not enabled so all automatically install as i want to control this as we are talking about 16k+ clients, so i am manually select upgrade client on a collection, all upgrades are being initiated from the central level.the upgrade was going fine but now it's starting to get confusing. the only simple way to explain this is by using quick points below.- SCCM reports on my central point is showing a huge difference with the "Show SMS version count report" the version of 4.00.6487.2000 is lower than compaired to the primary level 4.00.6487.2000 count.- Status messages on the central is showing a lower install count then what is shown in the central sccm reports (as if the status messages are not receiveing the install notification)- using the "Show SMS Version count report" show agents on SMS 2003 versions but when i connect to the client they are running the new 4.00.6487.2000versionThere seems to be some sort of sync issue, can anyone advise and help bring this sync up to speedThanks

Just a suggestion ; Try this for one machine which is not reporting correctly.Open Configuration Manager from control panel--> Actions -> Initiate Discovery Data collection Cycle.Check if that machine reports back correct information after a few minutes.
Free Windows Admin Tool Kit Click here and download it now
