SCCM Reporting Services and https
Hello all,Maybe I'm in over my head but I've been tasked with setting up a reporting services point in our SCCM. I'd like to use https but I see no documentation on how to do so (I've looked at MS' documentation on configuring reporting services). I'm assuming I would have to generate another cert from our CA but what template do I use? Can I use an exisiting web server cert used for our other boxes, etc.? Also, it isn't clear to me in the documentation how authentication works. Say I want the group "SCCM_Techs" to have access. How do I set authentication so they are prompted to enter username/password in the browser? The docs from MS say that isn't necessarily supported but it must be in some fashion. I have the server setup and configured, but it looks like security is pretty loose. I've since shut it down until I can restrict users. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,This kind of setting are IIS one.If you want to configure certificate for reporting, you must edit the IIS site on reporting point server and configure it as any IIS site (in security tab). For security, site acces is managed by "SMS Reporting users" group on RP server add your group to this.By default, user are not prompted for authentification because it use Windows integreted authentification (kerberos or NTLM). see http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/324274 for auth config under IIS and http://support.microsoft.com/kb/324069 for certs.BL
