SCCM Reporting Services Point - Upgrade Assessment - Windows Vista - How about Upgrade Assessment Windows 7?
As Windows 7 is being released this week, when are the SCCM Upgrade Assessment Reports going to reflect the inclusion of Windows 7 upgrade assessments?Marcel Schmelzer

Personally, I wouldn't wait for an official release of some kind of updated report. I would clone the existing report, and then go and modify the test parameters to match whatever the minimum requirements are to support Windows 7.Standardize. Simplify. Automate.

Thanks for the recommendation. In regards to cloning the existing Windows Vista reports, are the installation requirements/parameters the same for Windows 7 as for Windows Vista. I would assume there would be some difference in the OSrequirements? I will research the Windows 7 requirements and try to align them with the cloned Windows Vista reports, to make new Windows 7 Upgrade Assessment Reports match-up to the Windows 7 specifications.http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/get/system-requirements.aspxhttp://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-vista/get/system-requirements.aspxPS (Microsoft) - Please include in future releases/updates for SCCM 2007 R2for the SCCM SQL Reporting Services Point. Thanks,Marcel SchmelzerLead Systems Analyst - UPMC Health SystemMarcel Schmelzer
