can you check on the server if there are any registry entrie value for permitted views is present or not ? here is the path where the value exist : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SMS\Client\Client Components\Remote Control Normally,if remote tool agent is installed on computers,it should get all the settings which are defined for the client agent.//Eswar Koneti @ www.eskonr.com

what is the client OS version try toverify it on few other clients including windows 7 if it is Gp issue you get the same error on all other client log file. Syed Kasif

It remote control disabled error when try to take Remote and there is a value exist under remote control/permitted views.
