SCCM Multiple Forests and Roaming
Hi all, We have 2 SCCM Site Servers under each of the two forests....ForestA and ForestB with 2-way trust enabled between them. Under ForestA Site Server, there are 3000 workstations. Unders ForestB Site Server 1000 workstations. Both the Site servers are under the same hierarchy , reporting to a Central SIte Server in ForestA. We have a situation where we are managing 100 workstations of ForestA through the ForestB Site Server. When these 100 workstations(which belong to ForestA but are assigned under ForestB Site Server), roam into the ForestA, will it be able to read the AD Container and get a local DP from ForestA?? Thankyou

Thanks Torsten. But I dont see this type of scenario in the link provided. ForestA --> Site code AB1 ForestB --> Site Code AB2 100 machines under ForestA Domain are being assigned and managed by a Site server hosted in ForestB. For instance, consider a workstation (Machine001.ForestA.com) which is being managed by Site Server at ForestB along with ForestB Domain machines( Machinexxx.ForestB.com) When Machine001.ForestA.com roams from the ForestB Site boundary to it ForestA Site Server Boundary, will it be able to read the AD Container and get the list of local DPs or will it use Regional roaming and still look for the DP in ForestB? (Since the 100 machines belong to the ForestA domain, they should be able to read the AD container.. But technet says only Regional roaming is capable. Kindly clarify my doubt please.) Thankyou
