SCCM Multicast Ports
I’ve been trying to get SCCM Multicasting working.
The only way I was able to get it working was to allow my client’s access to TCP/135 and TCP/5040 on the server. This is covered in the WDS documentation,
but I did not see it in the SCCM documentation.
I was wondering if someone can confirm that this is correct or do I have something missed configured?
ThanksJ.C.

Hi Kent,
Thanks for replying.
So these ports should not have to be opened to the clients?J.C.

ConfigMgr is just using WDS for the multicast functionality, so anything in the WDS documentation should also be applicable.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/jsandys/default.aspx | Twitter @JasonSandys
