Hi, R2 is supported on CM07 sp1 http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc161851 but it is strongly recommended to go to CM07 sp2 instead of sp1 to benefit many advantages.Bechir Gharbi | My blog: @myITforum.com | Twitter: @Bechir_Gharbi | Linkedin: Bechir Gharbi | Time zone: GMT + 1

"Service Pack" does not need a key and yes you can do that.Bechir Gharbi | My blog: @myITforum.com | Twitter: @Bechir_Gharbi | Linkedin: Bechir Gharbi | Time zone: GMT + 1

You can use CM07 with sp2 with you current license and if you have purchased the R2 package (or you have Software assurance) therefore you can install it of course.Bechir Gharbi | My blog: @myITforum.com | Twitter: @Bechir_Gharbi | Linkedin: Bechir Gharbi | Time zone: GMT + 1

One major point of clarification that needs to be made here is that R2 is a version of ConfigMgr in licensing terms only. In technical terms, it is simply a feature pack. You cannot directly install R2, it is *always* installed after the full product is installed and requires (at a minimum) an SP1 installation of ConfigMgr although if you are installing ConfigMgr you should absolutely use SP2. Also not that the license keys are embedded in the media and I've never seen anyone ever have to enter one in so as long as you legally acquired the media, you shouldn't have any issues.Jason | http://blog.configmgrftw.com
