SCCM FQDN for use on the Internet
Hello,

I was asked to modify the Internet FQDN for SCCM.
I already have the new public DNS record that points to my external SCCM server.
I also have external clients where the client was installed with the command line ccmsetup.exe /usepkicert ccmhostname="FQDN Internet".
Does that require anything special or is it sufficient if I just modify the internet FQDN in the site system properties ?
Shoud I reinstall the client on the boxes where I installed the client with the ccmhostname option ?

Thanks,

Nothing else is required in the site configuration.

The only supported way to change the clients is to run ccmsetup again. The ccmhostname value should be in the registry and and should be able to change it there, but to my knowledge, that's not technically supported -- not that it won't work, just that's not what they tested specifically. Thus, you can try this but make sure you test it well.
