Doesn't matter at all if the name contains numbers or letters or a mixture. Which discovery method are you using? What's in the corresponding logfile? Can the siteserver resolve the name? Is the computer account not disabled in AD? Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de

check if you have specified the correct LDAP OU path in discovery method where the computer resides, and monitor the log discovery log file ....try upadting the collection to see the changes.//Eswar Koneti @ www.eskonr.com
