SCCM Deployment of Windows 7 SP1
Hello, We have an environment here set up that has SCCM. It works great for our deployments of OS's and software. When we install the OS with SP1 included in it, when it boots the computer for the first time, it says "Windows Service Pack 1 Succesfully Installed". Does anyone know if there is a way to suppress that so we do not have to hit ok? No one seems to make a reference to this problem so I am not sure if we are the first ones that are having this issue or not. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced. Cheers, Chris

Can you clarify your process? Are you using software updates to deploy SP1? John Marcum | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jmarcum/|

We use the build and capture, and we specify to install all the updates. So yes, we are using software updates to deploy SP1.Cheers, Christopher Holmes UC Riverside Extension Department of Information Technology

If you want a new image it's way easier to just get the new Win 7 media that has SP1 included. That's what I did. John Marcum | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jmarcum/|

Just a side note: using Win7 SP1 with ConfigMgr is not officially supported yet.Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de
