SCCM Console: The following objects are not available and will not be edited

Hi all

During a Task Sequence editing, the SCCM Console crashed.

After restarting the SCCM Console i can't open the previous edited Task Sequence:

But i am the guy which SCCM complain. How can i unlock this Task Sequence?

- Click on Retry Edit brings nothing.
- A restart of the SCCM server brings nothing.

Stop de SMS services and try to edit again

Check if the TS is still a member of the default security scope

on SCCM Server I stopped & restarted the following services and still no luck. Am I missing something?

SMS Agent Host

SMS_EXECUTIVE

SMS_SITE_BACKUP

SMS_SITE_COMPONENT_MANAGER

SMS_SITE_SQL_BACKUP

SMS_SITE_VSS_WRITER

Had the same problem. Just wait 30 minutes and the object will be unlocked (only if another administartor not really use that object)

You can also run this in SQL:

select * from SEDO_LockState where LockStateID <> 0

This will show you the lock(s), then you copy the GUID from the LockID you want to clear, and then run:

delete from SEDO_LockState where LockID = 'GUID'
