SCCM Client upgrade without Secondary Site Server
Experts, We are planning to upgrade SMS Clients to SCCM Clients. a. Scenario is Build the Central site server > Primary Site server > client upgrade > Secondary site server - will it work? b. Will SCCM client upgrade process happens without Secondary Site Server? c. if we introduced the secondary site server after upgrade to SCCM clients in a particular region. What is the impact? Please advice

Upgrade the sites first, then the clients. A secondary site can also be set up afterwards. No need to touch the clients then.

Hi, A) Always perform the upgrade from Top central site, primary child sites, administrator console, secondary sites and clients. B) Yes, clients will work without upgrading the secondary sites. But you should always upgrade site servers before upgrading clients C) A new site should be a SCCM site.
