SCCM Client in OS image
We are ordering a large shipment of workstations and we are going to have them imaged at the our Imaging Factory. Usually we image onsite with SCCM so the client is
good but I will have to send Image Factory a drive to copy the image.
Can anyone of you tell me steps I should take to ensure the client is correct and ready to be imaged so we do not get duplicate SCCM client ID’s? The master image
currently has the client installed, should I remove that and install it with no site code or how is this best done?

What you are asking for, will be a part of the next feature pack called ConfigMgr. R3. I haven't heard any release dates, but it's in public beta and hopefully just around the corner.
Have a look at

And while we are waiting for R3 check this -
