SCCM Client deployed to a system whith a prexisting client install.
So we use an AD OU whit the ADM sccm template to install our clients. Problem is I run into clients with a preexisting sccm client and site code. So the install fails. I built
a script to manually run that will delete the reg key first but I cannot do this for 100 systems.
Does anyone have a solution?

Don't use AD install. Use one of the other methods that use CCMSETUP or WSUS, both of which detect the precense of a previously installed client.Jason | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jsandys | http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/jsandys/default.aspx | Twitter @JasonSandys

I agree with jason. The AD method tattoos the registry and can only be overwritten by another GPO. It's the only method that does that. I ran into this at a client site once. Wrote a script to remove the registry keys and used PSEXEC to distribute the script.
