You could use CMTrace.exe to get the error code using the CTRL+L option.

The issue with the error code is that most of them depend on what log they come from.

Do note though that as Garth pointed out, there is *nothing* comprehensive -- the list posted in blog is truly just a small subset. Also, there's no list of resolutions. Troubleshooting and solving issues is about much more than simply looking at an error
code; there is no step by step for troubleshooting so while knowing what an code means is important, it is only a small portion of the process.
