Can you help me with this. I am using SCCM 2007 R2 but am having an issue when PCs are replaced. When we replace the PC, we need to return with the same name, due to limitations with other applications. Whats happening is when the new PC joins the domain (this works fine), SCCM show the client already installed but the PC does not get any software pushes. I know there are scheduled maintenance tasks, does one of these control updating of obsolete data? There must be an automated way to do this, the only other workaround we have is to manually delete the PC from the database before its replaced.
