SCCM Client

Hi,

I have installed client but am not able to view any of the client components deployed and its not assigned any of the site plz help

Hi,

Are your boundary and boundary groups setup? Does the client machine fall within one of these?

Have a look on the client in the logs folder.

clientlocation.log, locationservices.log and clientidmanagerstartup.log

Is the schema extended for Configuration Manager?

Yes its part of boundary. except one client all others assigned to site and able to view components.

hi,

I am able to see only CCM folder but no log folder.

Also tried reinstalling client 2 to 3 times but no luck.

what does ccmsetup.log tell?

i do not have access to sccm server so m not able to view the log

The log is on the windows client device, Windows\CCMSETUP\ccmsetup.log

these are the errors

1.CcmSetup failed with error code 0x80070643

2.Installation failed with error code 1603

There will probably be more detail in that log, but at a guess I would check WMI on the client.

How are you installing the client? Manually? Pushing it from the console? What about the schema, is that extended?
