SCCM Best Practice folder structure
Hello
I was looking for any best practice for setting up SCCM folder structure like for Drivers,Software etc. Unfortunately I have only found partial information.
Therefore I was wondering if anyone would like to share some information how did you set it up. I have some idea in mind but getting an guide from more expierienced admins would be much appreciated.

Hi,
For Software (Collections, Advertisements and Software Metering) I use a vendor specific folder structure in the console. I have defined my top 5 vendors like Microsoft, Adobe, Our Company, IBM etc. Finally I have a folder caled "Other" where I place the
remaining packages.
For Drivers I have, NIC drivers and model specific drivers like:
NIC: x86/x64, Operating system
Model: x86/x64, Operating System, Vendor, ModelKent Agerlund | http://scug.dk/members/Agerlund/default.aspx | The Danish community for System Center products

There's no real best practice, it's up to you how you want to hande your folder struture. Personally I like Kent's suggestions above.
