SCCM Active directory System Directory Custom attributes
Hi I am part of SCSM 2007 deployment project we are depending heavily on SCCM 2007 and using both default and custom connectors. I have enabled AD sys disc and AD sys grp discovery in SCCM. I am able to pull System OU info. But I need to pull other fields like AD Object SID, Forest DNS etc. I can see ObjectSID in default AD discovery methods. I am trying to find where Object SID information is stored? Any thoughts please? Thanks in advance! :) Cheers- Guru

Unfortunately, this is a known issue in CM07: a couple of attributes are actually gathered and used by ConfigMgr-- like SID -- but they are never propogated to the DB and thus never available. Because they are part of the default attribute set, you can't add them as custom attributes. Your only course of action is to use CM12, find an alernative method to accomplish your task, or file a DCR for CM07 via a TAM that justifies business impact and cost.Jason | http://blog.configmgrftw.com | Twitter @JasonSandys

Thanks Jason for your valuable inputs! Unfortunately the source is CM07 right now. Cheers-Guru
