SCCM 2012 unable to install SMS provider on clustered SQL server
Hello all, When trying to install SCCM 2012 I get the following error when setting the sms provider: "You cannot install SMS Provider on clustered SQL Server" Although the sms provider I provide is not a sql server but the sccm server itself... (any other server name that i type will not be accepted) Situation: SQL Servers: SQL01 & SQL02; clustered name C-SQL-SRV01 Version: SQL Server 2008 R1 SP1 + CU10 (both servers) Windows ver. Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise SCCM2012 Server: SCCM2012 Windows ver. Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise I have been able to install a working SCCM2012 on a non clustered SQL server. Is the limitation the sql cluster and must i install a single sql server for this?MS Certs: http://goo.gl/sTe0t, 7x MCITP, VMWare VCP 4, Citrix CCEE
