SCCM 2012 collection replication from one primary site to other primary site.

Hi,

We have SCCM2012 infra where it consist of 2 primaries and one CAS server.

whenever we create a collection or package on one of the primary site server its visible in other primary site server also.

Is this the default behaviour? or its should be present only on originating primary site and CAS. please clarify.

Thanks

Sunny.

Hi,

All objects you create in the console are global data so yes, global data is replicated to the CAS and all Primaries and not the way it worked before in SCCM 2007. You need to use RBAC, Role Based Delegation to delegate the permissions instead, all administrators will be visibile in all sites. A primary site is no longer an administrative boundary.

Yes that is the default behavior. Hence why all Administration work should ONLY be done on the CAS.
