SCCM 2012 SP1 - Client was deleted after applying CU1
Hi All,

Current SCCM Infra:

1 - CAS Server (C01)

1 - Primary Server (P01) for Malaysia (Supporting 11,000 machines Clients, no server)

12 - Distribution Point Server.

I would like to seek your help for resolving an issue that my site encountered in SCCM 2012 SP1. Below are the following issues that was happen before applying the CU1 update.

* We notice that heartbeat of the clients is not updating (last update was on June 24, 2015.

* we have tried resolving the issue for the heartbeat by checking a lot of articles in technet and also some articles in the net.

* we have tried reinstalling the Management Point of the primary server but still no luck.

* Then we decided to apply CU1 for the SCCM 2012 SP1. We have successfully applied the CU1 to CAS, but not for the Primary Server.

* After applying the CU1, the server becomes unstable (freeze/hanging), we decided to force shutdown/restart the primary server.

* After the server has become stable after restarting On the primary server, i notice that CU1 has been installed, but its not reflected on the registry (HKLM\Software\Microsoft\SMS\Setup) CULevel = 0

* The after 2 days upon checking the SCCM Primary Server, the clients in the All Desktop And Server Client collection have gone missing (10,500 clients was missing)

Now im stuck resolving this issue, pls help us to resolve this issue for discovering the clients and putting back to the SCCM Server. I can provide all the necessary logs just to resolve this issue.

P.s. sorry if this is a novel, its a very long story.

Thanks in advance.

All those logs are not relevant when it comes to the health of the site. What about e.g. mpcontrol.log?

Also i tried to accessing the MP in the client by doing the following, which is working normally

http://myhqkul990708s.simedarbygroup.com/sms_mp/.sms_aut/mplist

http://myhqkul990708s.simedarbygroup.com/sms_mp/.sms_aut/mpcert

Anything to resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance.
