Hopefully someone can help me. I have recently implemented SCCM 2012 R2 and managed to get SCUP working with it (PKI and all! :-) ). I am looking to deploy Flash as an initial test through Software Update, but just have a couple of questions. Hopefully there's someone out there who's tried this?

1) Can Software updates run if the user is logged off? I know if a package is deployed, this can be set to run when logged off, but what about updates (specifically with Flash in mind)?

2) Our users use flash in a couple of their web apps. If the software updates while a user is logged in and running one of these apps, would the update (run through Software update) cause any outage while installing, or does it wait until the software isn't in use? If so, what impact have you seen?

Any other experiences with Flash and SCCM would be greatly received.

#2: this should result in a reboot being required because files are in use.
