In our environment SCCM 2012 R2 CU1, I have used PowerShell cmdlet new-cmsecondarysite  to install a secondary site server with SQL 2012 SP1 Standard as it is database. Installation went fine ,configmanagersetup log says installation fine, mpsetup logs says installation fine and even dp is installed fine but when I go and Check the Component status under monitoring node fetched me with Critical error related to

BgbSetup, so when I opened that log  I found that error CTool::RegisterComPlusService: Failed to unregister D:\Configmanager\bin\x64\microsoft.configurationmanager.bgbserverchannel.dll with .Net Fx 4.0, so I check for solution and as advised in  http://myitforum.com/myitforumwp/2014/03/12/configmgr-2012-r2-notification-server-install-errorsWhen I try to edit InstallUtil.exe and try to add <runtime>
  < loadFromRemoteSources enabled=true/>
< /runtime> and save the file gets access denied even though I logged on as local admin and open the file in notepad as administrator but I was able to edit RegSvcs.exe and the same code mentioned above and restart the SMS_SITE_COMPONENT_MANAGER service but still BgbSetup.log gives same error SMS_Notification _Server component gives critical warning. Please advise.

Hi All,

SCCM 2012 Management point installation will be a failure if it has SCCM 2007 client. Uninstall SCCM client and also Remove from WMI using powershell commands

Get-WMIObject -namespace root -query SELECT * FROM __Namespace where name = ccm | remove-wmiobject. Reboot the server and then install SCCM 2012 MP install will be fine.
