SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 removed the option in User State Migration for an In-Place Migration Type
I am running Site Version 5.00.8239.1000 and console version 5.0.8239.1206.  In the console I go to Assets and Compliance -> Overview -> User State Migration.  Right click and select create computer association.  I type in the same computer name for Source computer and destination computer.  I click ok and receive the error "The source and destination computers are same, select a different destination computer".  In previous versions I was able to create an In-Place migration, but now I am unable to due to this error.  Any ideas on how I can perform an In-Place migration?

If its in place IE: Computer "A" to computer "A"

You don't need an association. Just ensure your capture TS has "Capture state from computer" on Request Store State

Then ensure your restore TS has the same.
