SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 Console on XP

By the https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg682077.aspx the supported configuration for SCCM console is Windows XP SP3, but I can't install console.

Installer return an error "Console requires Windows Vista or higher".

Is it possible to install console on XP computers?

Only Windows XP SP3 x86 was supported. Looking at the initial message on top of that article I'm not surprised with the message you're getting. The page starts with The following sections list products that are supported with System Center 2012 Configuration Manager. No extension of support for these products beyond their current product life-cycles is implied. Products that are beyond their current support life cycle are not supported for use with Configuration Manager.

Concur with Peter. XP has been a completely unsupported product for almost an entire year now so expecting anything to work on it is a bad expectation.

Yes, Windows XP is out of support for a long time.

But in that case it must not be provided as supported configuration in "Supported Configurations for Configuration Manager" article.

The table about Console OS requirements was updated after R2 SP1 release, and WinXP provided as a supported configuration for any release and SP of SCCM including R2 SP1.

Maybe it's just an error in documentation, but not a normal situation.

MY advice - just move on. I'm sure you have bigger problems.
