Dear Experts,

Environment does have a Primary Site, and few Secondary Site. All Secondary Site were Configured with relation ship of Downstream server with Primary Site Server. All Other Secondary Site Server Status shows Active & Healthy for "Software Update Point Synchronization Status" - Except One Secondary Site - The Secondary Site Server is keep showing the status as Synchronizing for more than 24 Horus

The Secondary Site which is having issue, did the Sync properly earlier, Recently we did patch update on those servers are restart.

Added to that, following error seems in the WSYNCMGR.LOG

*** [08001][10061][Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0]TCP Provider: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

*** [42000][18461][Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0][SQL Server]Login failed for user 'NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM'. Reason: Server is in single user mode. Only one administrator can connect at this time.

*** [08001][10061][Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 11.0]A network-related or instance-specific error has occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. Server is not found or not accessible. Check if instance name is correct and if SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. For more information see SQL Server Books Online.

*** Failed to connect to the SQL Server, connection type: SMS ACCESS.

Failed to update sync status: Failed to get SQL connection. Source: CSafeSqlEx::CSafeSqlEx

WCM LOG Shows only 1 Error

Failed to create assembly name object for Microsoft.UpdateServices.Administration. Error = 0x80131701.

Note : The Other Secondary Site's are working normal along with primary Site server

I have verified the URL which you have referred. It is not the actual error.

We are not using Proxy 

Port Number is 8530 in Use.

Any Other suggestions Please?

You mentioned that you recently patched that Secondary server. Did you apply the same patch to other Secondary servers? If yes, have you confirmed that they are still working properly? 

Obviously it is a connection issue. Can you log onto the Secondary server, and attempt to PING/TELNET from it to the Primary (to verify communications)?

Also, what about checking that the Secondary server has the right permissions on the Primary (i.e. the Computer Object)?
