Dear Experts,
Recently, We have Deployed System Center Configuration Manager Client for more than 5000+ Desktops & Laptops (Client OS - Windows 7, 8/8.1).
Most of the Client Machines Installed with Agent and showing the Client Status as Active. Out of that 2-3% of Client Health Status shows
Inactive
All of the Inactive Clients are getting reported to respective Management Points, with out any issues.
Here, We have set up the Client Status Settings properties by Default
as shown below
We noticed that based on the Client Settings which configured - Inactive Client shows based on the above Settings.
1. We do not have SCCM Client Push account on environment
2. If all of this SCCM Inactive needs to be Active - Does SCCM Client Re-installation is required for this?
As Administrator it is painful to identify by verifying the log status from each and every client Machine.
What would be the best way to fix this? Currently, We have not installed the Agent by Client Push. We have tried to install the agent by using Non-Microsoft Deployment Tool.
Currently, the Heart Beat Discovery - We Enabled with 1 Weeks - Since the Number of Clients in my Environment is more than 20K+ Devices (OS Client of Windows 7, 8/8.1)
We do not have Enabled with Site Maintenance of "Delete the Inactive Client Discovery Data"
Your advice please. All, We are looking for bringing the Client Most accurate with Active State for Optimized Environment
