SCCM 2012 R2 SP1 - Application Deployment - Mandatory

Dear Experts,

We are trying to deploy an Application using SCCM 2012 R2 SP1. Deployment Mode as Mandatory and let assume that Application Availability Starts from 10/10 and Deadline is on at 11/10.

During the time between 10 & 11. Does SCCM Allows to install the application Pro-actively, with out user input or effort.

Please share your findings..

Hi Veera

According to the technet documentation:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg682082.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

Users can install the application from the software centre after the application is made available before the deadline is reached.

This is assuming that the application is not hidden from the software centre on the user experience tab.

with out user input or effort.

Just to be clear here, the answer to your specific question is no. That's the whole point of the deadline before which the agent will not enforce the deployment without user intervention. The available time is exactly what it means, it's "available" and can be installed per Kriss's comments.
