SCCM 2012 R2 Native Mode - Untrusted Domain

Hello,

In my environment, I have a Domain A with a primary site SCCM 2012 R2 in Native Mode (using certificates).

I tried to manage and install agents into another Domain B, which is an Untrusted Domain ( no trust relationship between the 2 domains).

At this moment I`m bit unclear if I also need to add another MP and DP in the Domain B, in order to successfully deploy the SCCM clients.

Thank you.Regards.

It can make it easier, but it's not a requirement. For the different scenario's see this nice blog series: http://blogs.technet.com/b/neilp/archive/2012/08/20/cross-forest-support-in-system-center-2012-configuration-manager-part-1.aspx

Hey Peter,

Thank you for your feedback, yes I know that series, but wouldn't be easier just to "treat" the other servers from Domain B as regular workgroup computers, just as you've mentioned in your article?

Cheers.

If it's only a couple of clients, then the answer is yes. Also, that's pretty similar to the first scenario in that blog series.
