SCCM 2012 R2 DP Schedules and Rate Limits not setting

Hi Guys,

I wonder if someone could possibly point me in the right direction. When i try set a schedule or a rate limit option on one of my DP's my apply button stays grayed out, i cannot set the rate limits or any schedules, it just doesn't allow me.

I am not sure if there is perhaps a setting I might have missed or this is a known issue that can easily be fixed ?

I have attached a screenshot

Thanks in advance

Leon

Hi,

Please try to use PowerShell script to change the Rate Limits. Does it work?

Hi Joyce,

I have tried it via PowerShell as well, i get no error in PowerShell, it just runs, goes back to the command screen and when i go check it is still not set.

I also tried updating the current 2012 R2 to CU5 and it didn't make any difference, its really weird, the apply button only greys out when i am on the "Schedule" and Rate Limits" tabs.

Thanks

Leon

Hi Leon,

Have you tried to run SCCM console as another user with required permissions? Still same error?

Please also try to runSCCM console on another machine.

Hi Joyce,

Thank you for all your replies, I actually found the issue, I realized that all of the DP's were on secondary site servers therefore I had to set the schedules and rate limits from the "File Replication" section under Administration-File Replication.

After i set it there is allowed me to click apply and i checked the sender logs and i could see the rate limits being applied.

thanks again

Which version of ConfigMgr are you running? The console usually does not display that option if the DP is co-located on the site server.

Hi Torsten,

I was thinking the same thing just after i posted that answer, i am responsible for 4 other companies System Center and also just checked on another site and they actually dont have the option.

The site where i was having the issue is 2012 R2 CU5, yet it shows the tabs but the apply is grayed out and only allows me to set it under "File Replication"
