I am working on a multi forest SCCM 2012 R2 environment with a few thousand clients.
We have a number of SCCM clients that cannot install applications deployed as Required or Available.
When we open System Center from an affected client and click the Install button on an available application the window moves to the Installation Status tab but the application never appears.
I have noticed that the AppDiscovery.log on the affected clients are not showing recent modified dates.
So far the workaround we have is to reinstall the SCCM Client manually (the Client Install from the SCCM console is not working either) and we can then install the application using Software Center plus the client will install any applications deployed as Required.
The affected clients are all either at the base version or CU2. We are in the process of trying to roll out the CU5 update however with this issue we are having to reinstall many of the clients manually before the CU5 update will take.
Any help / advice you can give would be greatly appreciated as I am fairly new to SCCM 2012 R2.
