SCCM 2012 Prompt User Name To Remote Control Computer

I would like to create a query that prompts me for the last logged in user so that I can create a single computer collection to remote control. Sometimes our computer names are generic and I don't know the name of the computer, but we always know the name of the user. I've tried adding a Collection Variable called User_Name and then a query:

select SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID, SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType, SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name, SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier, SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup, SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client from SMS_R_System where SMS_R_System.LastLogonUserName like "@User_Name"

No luck, though.

Im not sure that Im following you. You want to create a Collection that you can prompt for a user name so that you can RC then? I think this is correct. This would not make a lot of sense, particularly on a busy site.

It does make sense to create a query and you can use this for RC too. Use this query if you want to locate PCs by that last logon user but prompt for the user name each time.

Thank you. That is exactly what I want to do, but when I put this into the WQL I get an error:

This query has a syntax error. Are you sure you want to save it?

I have found this information before, but keep coming up with the same error. Am I doing something wrong here? Or not doing something else that would make this WQL work?

You are doing this as a Query NOT a collection right? What error are you getting?
