0x80004005 means "unspecified error". It looks like ccmsetup.exe cannot find the rest of the client installation files on a DP.

No valid source or MP locations could be identified to download content from. Ccmsetup.exe cannot continue. - seems like a boundary issue

1724 out of 1800 is a VERY high success rate with ConfigMgr 2012 Client Push. You will never get 100% success due to environmental conditions. You will waste so much time troubleshooting the individual errors.

You should deploy the client to the remaining clients in one of the following ways

1. Manually - on the client, run \\ConfigMgr_Server\SMS_P01\Client\ccmsetp.exe (replace P01 with your site code)

2. Use PSexec to copy the Client folder to the client and then remotely run ccmsetup.exe

see here for PSexec use

3. Install client via logon script

Hi Thya,

Same issue  / Same errors on my SCCM 2012 R2 as well. Figured out the issue.

Seems this is because of incorrect Client push configuration.

Below are the settings to be set and kept in mind while pushing the client via SCCM Console.

1. Check if Failback service point role is installed

2. Go to your Administration tab --> Sites ---> Select Site and on the top you need to click on the Site hierarchy settings. Post that you will get a window, There select your Fail back service point as per the below screenshot.

3. Then You will need to configure the client Push settings (Run as account and the FSP) as per the below screenshot.

In the Run as account tab you will need to add the Run as domain account which will be used by SCCM to push the .exe file in the remote agent

You will also need to add a additional sting FSP=YourFSP Server name here

Then select the option to install in Domain controllers as well.

Do not select the option Enable automatic site wide client push installation
