SCCM 2012 DP not working properly

Hi Everyone :)

I have come across an issue with a DP I am trying to setup, I have 18 other DP's which are setup and working fine except for one which is coming across this error.

It is a 2008 R2 server, all of the pre-reqs are installed.

The only reference I can find to 0x80041013 is that the error may mean WMI 0x80041013 "Provider load failure". Thus I have repaired WMI, checked the health and also double checked all the permissions but the same error still occurs.

How did you "repair" WMI?

I followed the steps from here http://windowsxp.mvps.org/repairwmi.htm

Then used this tool to verify the health http://www.microsoft.com/en-au/download/details.aspx?id=7684

There are multiple methods listed in that article and none are for 2008 R2.

In short, did you delete/rename the repository folder? If so, that does *not* repair the repository; it destroys it and all the data it contained. WMI will recreate an empty repository once it starts again but all data is now lost. You should at this point contact CSS or simply rebuild the system.

No I left the repository folder in tact, I only re-registered the DLL's.

I haven't run winmgmt /salvagerepository

I have run winmgmt  /verifyrepository though and it says "WMI repository is consistent"

I have found my answer here,

http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/winserverNIS/thread/df00b2e4-3bab-4b46-ad5a-95e82617a039

After following these steps it fixed the issue.
