Hi All,

I am receiving the following error in both the event log and in the ccmsetup.log when attempting to install the configuration manager 2012 sp1 client automatically using SUP method.  In the event log the error is logged under event ID 1904.

Module C:\Windows\CCM\StatusAgentProxy.dll failed to register.  HRESULT -2147010895.  Contact your support personnel

Has anyone else come across this or can you help me understand what might be causing this.  The client is failing to install on a few servers, but it is generally working fine.

I had seen this post yesterday, but it does not resolve my problem by rebooting the server.  Do you have any other suggestions on what might be causing this?

The wrong CRT version could also cause this. I suggest you unistall C++=>Reboot the computer=>Install this version.
