does anyone know how to check the amount of installations via software center?

for example i would like to see a log/report how many clients accessed software center and installed applications.

would be also great to see the top10 list of applications being installed, etc.

is there something a like?

There's no usage data of software center. You could query data listed in add/remove programs using SRS, but you would have to be very creative to find a way to determine the top 10 installation

Not saying it's not valid, but what's the use case for this info?

Also, if you feel strongly about it, file it as a design change request (DCR) on Connect (connect.microsoft.com) along with your use case and impact.

I'd like this info to measure adoption of self service software installations and I agree that its a shame its not  available. My creative solution includes reporting on a downturn in the tickets raised software installations when we begin our awareness push

I sit with a similar situation where the client want a "Dashboard" view of what apps were installed through Software Center over a specific period of time
