Hi

We have One  CAS and 3 Primary Site servers with DP. we are updating the package to 3 Primary site server DP but 2 of them are taking longer time to update so how to trouble shoot this problem and which logs we have to refer to please let us know.

Check the schedule.log and sender.log file, Sender records files that are sent from site to site and Schedule records info about site to site jobs and files.

Hi,

Even me facing the same issue we have pushed the content from CAS to four primary servers, out of which two primary servers DP is updated with success status and Two primary servers DP status is showing in progress (Starting to Process Content). The package is not so heavy as its content size is just in Kbs(620kbs).

Checked sender.log of CAS and no errors.

Checked despool.log of all primary servers which says

Despooler successfully executed one instruction. SMS_DESPOOLER 18-11-2013 7.37.21 PM 3416 (0x0D58)

Checked Distmgr.log on all primary servers out of which two primary servers which have success status having the entry Found notification for package 'xxxxxx' and other two primary servers (in progress) doesnt have this entry.

The package doesnt get failed instead it takes time, say two days.

Please suggest

Thanks

sunny

Have you implemented AV exclusions on these servers?

Hi,

We have even uninstalled the AV client on the server and also reinstalled the DP role but no luck. The DP status still shows as showing in progress (Starting to Process Content).

Thanks

Sunny
