SCCM 2012R2 PXE via IpHelper

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to deploy SCCM2012R2 task sequence via PXE with IpHelpers.

I've configured the IPHelpers to point to the SCCM DP PXE and the DHCP, but nothing happen.

Has someone a quick guide on how to configure SCCM2012 and iphelper?

Do you see the MAC address of the client trying to PXE boot in smspxe.log on the pxe-enabled DP?
You IPhelper configuration seems to be ok.

Hi,

The problem is that the Client don't receive an Ip Address.

It's strange, because if I set the option 66 and 67, the client receive instantly a IP Address.
When I disable the options in DHCP, the client doesn't receive an IP Address.

And I've configured the IpHelpers with the DHCP and PXE SERVER.

So the issue is outside of ConfigMgr then. You have to make sure that the broadcasts will reach the DHCP server in that case (using Wireshark etc). It might also be a switch problem.

No boot filename received

Do normal clients get an IP address in the same subnet? Test by using the same network point you are using for your OS

No one is getting an IP address (BIOS & UEFI).

Since when I've disabled the DHCP options.
When I re-enable the DHCP options the BIOS Based PC become Address & Start TS.

But without DHCP Options, no.

You're not getting me. Forget PXE for a moment. In your test subnet connect a known good computer or laptop. Does it get an IP address (I'm not talking about network boot - let it boot into the OS)?

Is your DHCP server installed on the same server as the WDS/PXE, if yes, then you need to do some more configuration to get it to function.

Hi,

Have you resolved this issue? If not, please try to use Network Monitor to check whether the IP Helper works fine.

Best Regards,

Joyce
