SCCM 2007 installation doesnot show primary site option
Hi All, I am supporting for a client in my organization.I am facing SCCM installation error as mentioned below: I have installed all the prerequisite for SCCM 2007 with SP2 on Windows 2003 x64 Standard Edition. When I run the setup for SCCM 2007 SP2 which is provided by my client, I found that on "Site Type" wizard Primary site option is grayed out and only Secondary site option is highlighted. Means I am only having the option to install SCCM secondary site. No Option to select primary site as it is grayed out. Please let me know what is the exact reason for the same and what can be done to rectify this. Is this something related to License. If yes could you please provide me some MS-Article for the same or any link. Regards DeepakThanks & Regards Deepak Kumar

Hi, It seems like your media contains the ConfigMgr SP2 upgrade package http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=3318741a-c038-4ab1-852a-e9c13f8a8140&displaylang=en and not the full package. If you want to get the full package evaluation version, so go to http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=bad49573-6ad7-4521-a898-2ef99bc868c4&displaylang=en Otherwise, if you've puchased ConfigMgr, so it is available on MVLS.

That's correct. You have upgrade media not full media. John Marcum | http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/jmarcum |
