SCCM 2007 client on SCCM 2012 site server
Hi, We have 2 SCCM infrastructure in our environment. 1) SCCM 2007 SP2 managing all our windows server 2) SCCM 2012 Managaing all our desktop. Now i need install SCCM 2007 on my site server (which is running the MP for sccm 2012 clients) but it is failing saying eventhough is specificy the SMSMP= parameter to the setup. below is the log file. Nope, not just not supported, not going to work. The MP and client agent share a lot of internals and thus there is no way to have differing versions of each on a single system.Jason | http://blog.configmgrftw.com | Twitter @JasonSandys

Thanks for the reply Jason , this MP was not having any agent installed earlier we wanted to try sccm 2007. Any suggestion on this situation, we are in dead lock state, Untill we have sccm2007 client on this SCCM 2012 site server(MP) it will not get patched . as all our windows sever patching is managed by sccm 2007 evironment.
